Tulips dotted the feild
gypsies left the land
and Zin and Sin were left alone.
Alone in the sence of people,
because no matter where one goes
there is always something alive.
Cherry, a large chocolate colored horse
trotted swiftly behind the two,
her reins held tightly in Zin's hand.
Her almond shaped amber eyes watched,
watched oh so carefully as the two
began to argue.
Like they always did.
Zin started it.
Sin ended it.
Like they always did.
"What are you talking about, I'm fine."
"No you're not."
"Yes I am Sin."
"No, Zin, there's something terribly wrong."
"Sin! There's nothing wrong with me."
"Yes. There. Is."
Indeed there was nothing wrong with Zin,
for a demon that is,
but Sin was onto something.
Just because one is a demon,
that doesn't mean they usually have
a sixth sence.
The birds whistled and the
rabbits hopped about
paying no head to strangers in their land.
Life went on for them,
and a show was put on.
Human-like creatures were sometimes
fun to watch.
Especially when argue.
But to the small animals dismay,
Zin and Sin were not staying.
They and Cherry were off.
Searching aimlessly.
For the capital, Aeros.
Where they may find hope.
A relief may be waiting,
or a dark secret may unfold
putting their lives in danger.
Who knows.
